UNHCR hands over first orthopaedic bed from Brad Pitt to Islamabad hospital
28 Dec 2005 The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences today received the first of 40 orthopaedic beds donated by actor Brad Pitt through UNHCR. The beds will help earthquake victims with spinal injuries by preventing bed- and pressure-sores, and will hopefully inspire funding of rehabilitation and vocational training.
