In celebration of World Refugee Day, which is marked every year on June 20, family and children-focused events were held on June 24 and 26 at the Temporary Accommodation Centres (TAC) in Vitebsk and Gomel. Organized in partnership with local authorities, including the Department of Citizenship and Migration and Executive Committees, these events welcomed up to 100 participants- refugees and asylum-seekers. Refugee-led businesses, such as local bakeries, provided catering, creating a warm, inclusive environment. Children enjoyed games and animation activities, supported by community-based volunteers. The events highlighted the spirit of community, solidarity, and support for refugees and asylum-seekers.
