Janis works within the Population Statistics unit, which consolidates, quality assures and publishes official population statistics on forcibly displaced and stateless persons. Prior to joining UNHCR, Janis worked as a researcher focused on identifying drivers of refugee labour market integration at the World Bank’s social protection and jobs department and at the University of Copenhagen.
