UNHCR Senior Economist
Jedediah (Jed) Fix is a Senior Economist for the UNHCR’s regional office in Nairobi, Kenya, where his work focuses on humanitarian-development collaboration, expansion of household surveys to include refugees, and measuring the impacts of forced displacement. Before joining UNHCR, he worked for the World Bank development impact and health, nutrition and population teams in West Africa and Switzerland. He holds a master’s degree in political economy and development studies, was a Fulbright Fellow at the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines,is a Senior Economist for the UN Refugee Agency’s regional office in Nairobi, Kenya, where his work focuses on humanitarian-development collaboration, expansion of household surveys to include refugees and measuring the impacts of forced displacement.
