Emiko Naka

UNHCR Learning Measurement Officer 

Emiko Naka is a Learning Measurement Officer within the UNHCR’s Education Section, Division of Resilience and Solutions. She holds a master’s degree in international relations and international economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. With nearly two decades of experience, Emiko has worked as an Education Specialist for various multilateral and bilateral organizations, as well as development consulting firms. She has significantly contributed to the design, implementation, and evaluation of education programs, national policies, and strategies. Her research covers thematic areas in education development and financing. She was a co-author and collaborated on numerous reports published by the World Bank. Her extensive field experience spans across Asia and Africa, including countries such as Lao PDR, Cambodia, Myanmar, Botswana, and Mauritania.
