Dr Sarchil is a Senior research fellow at WorldPop, University of Southampton, UK. Dr Sarchil has a multidisciplinary background in applied geospatial techniques and methods. His research interest lies in developing novel techniques and tools to facilitate the execution of modern censuses and national surveys. In his research, he also interested in using machine learning to map forced displacement at high-resolution. Furthermore, he is interested in developing remote sensing-based solution to improve agriculture productivity and model crop yield.
