UNHCR and Refugee Advisory Board launched the platform rumorfree.org with the aim to identify and debunk rumors and disinformation about refugees in Bulgaria through reliable information from trusted sources.
„The rumors about refugees in Bulgaria is an extremely important topic. I hope that our new platform will help us make Bulgarian society as well as refugee communities more sensitive on this topic“ says Emiliya Bratanova van Harten, Integration Associate at UNHCR Bulgaria.
The platform aims to become a preferred source of information on topics related to refugees. It covers wide range of areas, such as „Asylum Procedure“, „Health“, Education“, Employment and others, where relevant and reliable information will be published. Under the section „Information Sources“ are listed organizations that provide support to refugees in various areas.
