Information Sharing, Planning and Advocacy

NGOs may partner with UNHCR in joint planning and information-sharing to ensure coherence in operation approaches, to address systemic issues and efficiencies in resettlement delivery, and to ensure consistency in information dissemination to refugees.

UNHCR and NGOs can also develop joint advocacy strategies to generate support of resettlement for some groups of refugees in need of resettlement and to encourage the development/expansions of national resettlement programmes.
