- Turkish National Federation for Athletics and UNHCR will organize the first Traditional World Refugee Day Running Competition in Ankara. The competition will be announced well before the 20 June, through press conference, bill boards, web sites and other means.
- Historical Good Practices for Local Integration: A visit for journalists and some celebrities including the former President of Turkey, Suleyman Demirel to an historical village, formed in 19th century by a group of refugees from Poland in the Black Sea coast of Istanbul. A meeting will be organized where the refugees will share their experiences as good practice for local integration.
- In collaboration with Ankara Painters' Association, a drawing contest on the World Refugee Day theme of "HOPE" will be held.
- The Red Crescent and UNHCR will organize outdoor-indoor events at various locations in Ankara: photo exhibitions, visit to the Asylum Forest at Sirkeli, near Ankara for tree planting.
