UNHCR staff register refugees at the Douma registration center on the outskirts of Damascus. Registering with UNHCR ensures that the most vulnerable refugees receive aid.

On 20 June, a concert was organised jointly by Collectif Réfugiés (coalition of NGOs dealing with refugees) and UNHCR, with the participation of asylum-seeker musicians from various countries in the hall of the Banque de Luxembourg.
At the invitation of the European Parliament, UNHCR made a presentation on the theme of Refugee Women at the Committee on Equal Opportunities.
