IGO Online Complaint Form

Important notes before sending a complaint to the IGO:

  • The IGO is the independent UNHCR authority mandated to follow up on issues pertaining to possible misconduct by persons or entities that have a contractual link to UNHCR. If you wish to report a misconduct allegation, please fill the IGO complaint form below and provide as much detail as possible.

  • The Investigation Service of the IGO does not have the authority to deal with protection/assistance related requests. This means that the IGO cannot review individual refugee claims, cannot provide individuals with assistance (cash, medical or other), and cannot assist with resettlement. For these matters, please visit theUNHCR Help platform containing information for refugees, asylum-seekers and stateless people
  • UNHCR staff and affiliate personnel who wish to contest an administrative decision are advised to address their grievance to the Support Desk for Workplace Concerns. Please contact the Support Desk without delay, as specific deadlines apply to contesting administrative decisions. For more information on where to go for help, please see the help page on the Intranet.
  • The personal contact information submitted through this form will not be used to send unsolicited email and will not be sold or provided to any third parties.
