UNHCR signs agreement with Viet Nam, Cambodia on Montagnards
26 Jan 2005 On Tuesday in Hanoi, UNHCR signed an agreement with Viet Nam and Cambodia settling various issues concerning the refugee agency's current caseload of Montagnard refugees and asylum seekers in Cambodia. It sets out the basis for resettlement and repatriation while specifying that returnees to Viet Nam will not be prosecuted or face discrimination.
