21 Jul 2006 Members of the emergency team leading UNHCR operations for the Lebanon crisis have begun arriving in Damascus and are expected to head to Beirut on Friday or Saturday. Urgently needed relief supplies of mattresses, blankets and tents were being moved from the agency's regional stockpile in Jordan, close to Syria's border with Lebanon, for delivery as soon as possible. -
